Frock it up baby!

Favorite day of the week Friday!  This week turned out to be sunny and warm, and my knees are very happy they get to be out and play for a little bit longer.  Not too much on the calendar this weekend.  Chris and I are looking at getting a new fireplace downstairs, I'm pretty excited about that.  I will make it to Farmer's market for a basket of deliciousness.  Tonight I will BBQ tasty Szechaun chicken kabobs with some sweet red peppers and pineapple.  I hope to finish a book.  Enjoy whatever you find yourself doing!

I think since most of you list what you are wearing and how much it cost I'll give it a whirl. Although after hearing about the deals Vix finds I think I spend way too much on my clothes....me, hanging my head in shame :( I am seriously considering trying not to buy anything new for at least 1 month, baby steps.

PINK

This year PINK became a new Mommy, I could not be happier for her and her husband Corey!  She has always been a favorite of mine not just for her music but more for her ability to be true to who she is in an industry that has constantly tried to change her.  Her hair has stayed short even when everybody in Hollywood was telling her she had to grow it out and girl it up a bit to make it.  PINK will never be a "stupid girl" and for that I "raise my glass" to her.  I love you PINK!

I love this video for So What.  I think her husband Corey is a pretty good sport and they are a pretty hot couple!  Has anyone ever seen her live, she's on my list!

Itsy bitsy, never mind that thing is HUGE

Nature is beautiful but spiders creep me out.  This year there seem to be a ton of them around the house.  Why just yesterday I was driving in the car and I felt something tickling me, would you believe I had a spider in my clevage?  I did.... not this big but it still freaked me out and made me scream.  I took these with my 50 mm lens. 

I'm pretty sure this thing could eat Peetee.

Today I turned the heater on, reality is settling in, summer is really over. Good thing I still have bright happiness hanging round my neck :)

Still enjoying some sunshine and warm weather, but after these pictures it poured.  Such is the fall in Oregon.  Farmer's market had an amazing selection of peaches, nectarines, and apples.  I also picked up some sweet yellow corn and sweet red peppers.  The lack of fresh produce is my least favorite thing about winter.  Soon I will retreat indoors.  I hope we get a new fireplace this year.  I like fire!

Chasing sunshine

FROCKING FRIDAY is finally here! YEA YEAAAA!!  I can't wait to hit up Farmer's Market Saturday morning and plant my plumeria from Hawaii.  It still feels like summer here, never mind that will all change next week, but right now it's warm and I love it!

 

Can you tell I just brightened my pink and that I think I look pretty good?  Yeah for me and my brightness! One of my favorite things about having pink hair is that look little girls give you as they stare and then smile, usually really big.  Followed by them saying to Mom, that girl has pink hair or I want pink hair...makes my day every time.
